Max Verstappen, the reigning world champion and winner of the Bahrain Grand Prix, is currently one point ahead of his team-mate due to getting an important fastest lap point in Jeddah. Other racing teams are trying to stop Red Bull from winning at Albert Park in Australia – which would be their first victory there since Sebastian Vettel’s win in 2011.
Max Verstappen was the fastest in the first practice of the day. Later on, Fernando Alonso from Aston Martin was the quickest one in a practice that took place with rain.
