Alfa Romeo announced a collaboration with Kick prior to the 2023 season’s commencement, marking the Belgian Grand Prix as the first event to prominently feature the new streaming service on its 2023 C43 car bodywork.
The vehicle driven by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu is set to showcase vibrant green Kick logos and decals on its front and rear wings, sidepod, and corresponding wheel rims.
Kick, a rapidly growing live-streaming platform, has drawn in more than 10 million users within its initial seven months.
The emerging company is aiming to challenge veteran streaming services by offering creators an impressive 95-5 revenue split from follower subscriptions.
One of Kick’s most notable recruits is Canadian streamer xQc, who secured an exclusive deal worth up to $100 million, and brought over 400,000 followers to his Kick channel.
Recently, the Swiss-based Alfa Romeo experienced a surge in performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix the previous weekend, where Zhou and Bottas secured the fifth and seventh spots on the grid, respectively.
However, a starting issue for Zhou cost the Chinese driver potential points, while Bottas also finished outside the top 10 after facing an early delay on the opening lap.

Despite the challenges, the Hinwil team continues to hold ninth place in the 2023 constructors’ championship as they head towards the final race before the summer hiatus at Spa-Francorchamps.
“We had a golden opportunity to convert a strong qualifying into points, but our race got derailed on the very first lap,” stated Bottas.
“Zhou, ahead of me, encountered brake system strategy problems, forcing me to maneuver around him and lose momentum.
“However, there’s a silver lining we’re taking to Belgium; we discovered something extra in our package on Saturday, which shows the potential was there and we intend to leverage it.
“Spa will indeed present a different track, but we’re committed to working diligently this week to find the optimal configuration for further improvement and bounce back immediately.”
